Story Overview
For millennia humans have lived peacefully in underground cities governed by AIs. In five years, they will return to the surface of the planet, and the AIs will relinquish power. As final preparations for the Edening start, the peace crumbles. Everyone wants their piece of the future.Detective Rikki Kavich is racing to get her hands on a virus that threatens the AIs. Along the way, she teams up with the Clairvoyants, a mysterious group of advanced humans from the future, to face down powerful foes and prevent the fall of civilization.

Lequita "Rikki" Kavich

Rikki is a talented detective but her issues with authority often land her in trouble. She trained under Sensei as a young girl and witnessed his brutal murder. She is caught between the desire to forget the trauma and loss of that event and wanting to find answers.
Takeshi "Tak" Kido
Height: 173 cm
Weight: 65 kg
Tak comes from a police family. A tech wiz, he had always had more brains than brawn - something his hard-boiled cop father has never really accepted. Rikki often treats him like a little brother, both protecting him and bossing him about.
Eagle
Height: 182 cm
Weight: 72 kg
Eagle is deaf and blind, but he is able to perceive the world by sensing the quantum connections between all things.
When he fires a gun, he knows exactly
how the bullet will interact with the air and
matter that it passes through on the way to its
target. He never misses. He likes solitude and
meditation and lives in a cell in the city’s
prison.
Sanjay
Height: 195 cm
Weight: 98 kg
Sanjay is a gunslinger and has ultra-fast reflexes that
allow him to draw his weapons faster than most people can see. Since he was a child he has believed that if he ever kills anyone, he will die as well. Because of this, he has developed the skill and accuracy to immobilize his victims with his guns but not kill them. He likes basketball and pachinko.
Winson Terne
Height: 165 cm
Weight: 90 kg
Winson Terne is a wealthy businessman and anti-Edenist. He opposes the expansion of the post-scarcity economy - already partially adopted in New Haven - after the Edening. He is not only worried about the loss of his business, but he also believes that competition (capitalism) is an important driver for change and development. He is financing a number of underground terrorist groups. He is a technophobe and hates the AIs that run the cities.
Irelan
Height: 178 cm
Weight: 59 kg
Councilor Irelan is a human politician that shares Winson Terne’s beliefs and gets paid handsomely for forwarding his interests in government. He is a member of the Transition Council which is responsible for planning the transfer of power from the AIs to humans. Irelan is deeply suspicious of the AIs and their motives and is Terne’s co-conspirator in developing the virus that will enable the AIs to be controlled.
Ronan
Height: 250 cm
Weight: 218 kg
The reclusive leader of the NOID(Nano-enhanced-humanoid)s. He hides in his dimly lit quarters in the NOIDs underground lair, rarely venturing into the city above his head. He has the air of Colonel Kurtz about him, but his mind is much clearer and more focused. His goal, and the dream of his people, is to obtain their own separate piece of real estate on the surface of the planet after the Edening.
Lena
Height: 207 cm
Weight: 83 kg
Lena is Ronan’s second in command. She is brilliantly intelligent and handles most of the day-to-day running of their community, including the enforcement of their laws. She also goes out into New Haven acting as Ronan’s eyes and ears and making deals with people like Winson Terne who want to use the NOIDs’ particular talents.
